Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms Geo Tracks provides information, products, and services on this website (the "Site"), subject to the following terms and conditions ("Website Terms"). By using this Site, you acknowledge and agree to these Website Terms. Throughout this document, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Geo Tracks, while "you" and "your" refer to the individual accessing the Site or, if applicable, the corporation or legal entity on whose behalf you are accessing it.

2. General Terms Geo Tracks utilizes GPS, 2G, 4G and M2M SIM card technologies, combined with proprietary software, to provide accurate location tracking accessible via our web portal and mobile applications ("online platforms"). Both Android and iOS systems are supported.

Users acknowledge that Geo Tracks is not responsible for failures of third-party systems that may impact the tracking service, including but not limited to GPS positioning systems, mobile networks, and satellite connectivity. In the event of such failures, Geo Tracks holds no liability.

Geo Tracks tracking devices and online platforms are not standalone safety systems and should be integrated into a broader risk assessment framework, as required by relevant health and safety regulations or at the discretion of private users.

Tracking devices require a mobile network signal for live tracking. As with any GPS or mobile data device, tracking accuracy is influenced by external factors such as network coverage, weather conditions, topographical changes, and satellite functionality. Consequently, information provided via the online platforms should be treated as a guideline rather than an absolute location indicator, with an accuracy range of approximately five (5) meters.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, as outages may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or network failures. Geo Tracks endeavors to resolve faults as quickly as possible but accepts no liability for losses or damages resulting from service unavailability. Users remain responsible for appropriate supervision of tracked persons or objects and must ensure relevant insurance and precautionary measures are in place.

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Verify mobile network coverage in the intended tracking area.

  • Select the appropriate tracking device for their specific needs.

  • Ensure lawful use of the tracking device, particularly in compliance with data protection and privacy laws.

Geo Tracks reserves the right to provide equipment with variations in appearance from images displayed on the Site, provided the tracking functionality remains unchanged.

3. Software Usage Any software available for download through this Site is copyrighted by Geo Tracks, its suppliers, or licensors. Use of such software is governed by the applicable terms of service, which must be accepted before installation. Unless expressly permitted, you agree not to sell, lease, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the software.

4. Event Organizers. The following general conditions apply:

  • Full payment must be made before the event if requested or via invoice on 14 days payment terms post-event. Late payment fees of 2% per month will be applied.

  • All trackers and supplied equipment must be mailed within 24 hours of event completion. Late returns will incur penalty fees.

  • Non-returned items, including trackers and accessories, will be charged at full market value.

  • Event organizers are liable for breakages, losses, or damages to any provided equipment, charged at current market value.

  • Support services will be provided by Geo Tracks during the event.

  • Unlimited data will be provided for event-use trackers.

  • Geofence (Checkpoint locations) data must be submitted to Geo Tracks at least seven (7) days before the event in a what 3 words format. Geo Tracks holds no liability for errors in submitted data.

  • Participant data must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event, ensuring that competitor numbers correspond with tracker numbers.

  • Trackers must not be removed from the supplied protective case.

  • The protective cases must not be marked or have stickers affixed to them by the organizers. A cleaning fee will be charged of £5 per case.

  • Trackers must not be submerged in water or used for a water-based activity without the prior express permission of Geo Tracks. All water-damaged trackers will be charged to the organiser at current market value. Geo Tracks can supply a fully waterproof pouch by prior arrangement.   • Organizers must collect any missing trackers themselves before returning them to Geo Tracks. Participants should not be asked to post trackers directly to Geo Tracks unless express permission has been granted. Organizers will be charged a late return fee of £10 per missing tracker for every 7 days overdue.

5. Quotes Acceptance of a quote constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Quotes must be accepted either through the provided quote document or via email to Geo Tracks within 30 days of issuance. After 30 days, quotes are no longer valid.

Tracker quanties included in the quote are provided on a pro-rata basis and are based on the estimated number of trackers required as stated by the event organizer.

6. Privacy Policy Geo Tracks may collect information about your computer, including IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration and analytical purposes. The only cookies used on our Site are for Google Analytics, which provides insights into website usage. Users can opt out of Google Analytics tracking as per Google’s policies.

Your submission of information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Website Terms. By accepting these terms, you consent to Geo Tracks' collection, storage, and processing of your data, which may occur in any country where Geo Tracks or its partners operate. 7. No Liability for Third-Party Content Geo Tracks may provide links to third-party websites. By accessing these links, you acknowledge that Geo Tracks has no control over and assumes no responsibility for external content. Users access third-party content at their own risk.

8. Proprietary Rights All content on this Site, including logos, graphics, sounds, and images, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. No part of the Site may be copied, distributed, or transmitted without prior written consent from Geo Tracks. The use of any Geo Tracks trademarks or trade names requires express written permission.

9. Miscellaneous

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of England, United Kingdom.

  • Geo Tracks is not liable for service interruptions due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or technological failures.

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Geo Tracks, superseding any prior agreements.

  • Geo Tracks reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

  • Any modifications or discontinuation of the Site or services by Geo Tracks will not incur liability to users or third parties.
